Kylie Makel
Kylie grew up in Northern Virginia and received her associates degree in general studies from Northern Virginia Community College in 2018. After spending 5 years working at a dog daycare and boarding facility, Kylie decided to further her passion for caring for animals by joining the Animals First team as a veterinary assistant. When she’s not in the office helping care for your pets, you can find her at home with her own dogs, Luna and Phoebe the Siberian Huskies. In her free time Kylie runs a dog parenting blog and also creates YouTube videos with her sister.
Emily Timberlake
Emily grew up here in Rixeyville Virginia. She is currently studying to become a licensed veterinary technician. She has worked with animals, large and small, in the veterinary field for several years. Emily has a small hobby farm that she enjoys when she is not working in the office. The farm consists of a Quarter horse (Izzy), Nigerian dwarf goats, a miniature mule(Willy), and 7 dogs (Winnie, Rhage, Bull, Oliver, Olivia, Lucy and Mia). She lives with her husband and their son Daniel.
